Mira Monday's

Please excuse the bad quality of this video. I took it with my cell in the living room, kinda on a whim. We were wrapping gifts and listening to a Soma online radio station that played crazy Christmas songs. I had to record Mira's reaction to the song sang solely by dogs and cats. If you listen closely you may be able to hear the animals "singing". I love the way Mira cocks her head from side to side then reluctantly sings along at the end.

My weekend in a nutshell:

Friday:

~Company holiday party (ate and ran, home by 8:30. A new record!)

Saturday:

~ Shopping for family with the husband. Got everything we needed.

                                   ~ Tasty Breakfast at Magnolia Cafe (32nd/Hawthorne) SOOO GOOD!

                  ~ Bought soaps at Camamu on Clinton. Smelled great and the owner was so nice.

                                   ~ Finish crochet projects, wrap gifts, box for shipping.

                                   ~ Going to see "Holidaze" with friends tonight

                                   Sunday:

                                   ~More crocheting and Santa at my office 2-3pm

Christmas is a crazy time... hope you're all having fun with it.

Happy Saturday!

Tonight I went to my friends annual White Elephant holiday party. My prize? A brand new toilet seat and plunger. I'm so happy! Much better than the gift I got last year.(Last year I brought home a game called Anal Ring Toss, in case you are curious). I proudly took last years "gift" back to the party and my dear sweet friend M has to take it home this time. I'm sure her husband will be thrilled.  HA!

I honestly never thought I'd be so happy to have a new toilet seat but since we haven't changed the one in our bathroom since we bought the house a month ago I thought it was a delightful surprise and everyone was shocked when I stole it after opening a she-male video which was cleverly disguised within a tasteful and useful make up bag.

In case you haven't caught on this White Elephant exchange is a naughty one. As always I had a blast laughing with my friends.
